In the past I have shared some meditations from the free “Insight Timer” app that I felt was timely and am hopeful you feel the same. This is a reading of Prayer for Freedom from Don Miquel Ruiz’s “The Four Agreements”. Read this prayer and soak in ancient Toltec Wisdom as taught in the Four Agreements, a book which offers a powerful code of conduct that can rapidly transform our lives to a new experience of freedom, true happiness and love:
“Today, Creator of the Universe…we ask that you come to us and share with us a strong communion of love. We know that your real name is love and that to have a communion with you is to share the same vibration…the same frequency that you are because you are the only thing that exists in the Universe.
Today, help us to be like you are…to love life, to be life, to be love. Help us to love like you love with no conditions, no expectations, no obligations without judgment. Help us to love and accept ourselves without judgment because when we judge ourselves find ourselves guilty and we need to be punished. Help us to love everything you create unconditionally…especially other human beings…especially those that live around us…all of our relatives and those we try so hard to love because when we reject them, we reject ourselves and when we reject ourselves, we reject you. Help us to love others just the way they are with no conditions. Help us to accept them the way they are without judgment because if we judge them we find them guilty, we blame them and we have a need to punish them.
Today, cleanse our hearts of any emotional poison we may have…free our minds from any judgements so that we may live in complete peace and complete love.
Today is a very special day. Today we open our hearts to love again so that we can tell each other ‘I love you’ without any fear and really mean it.
Today we offer ourselves to you…come to us, use our voices, use our ears, use our hands and use our hearts to share ourselves in a communion of love with everyone.
Today Creator…help us to be just like you. Thank you for everything that we receive this day, especially for the freedom to be who we really are. Amen”.
Fun Recent HS Reunion Memories: Due to my military years and leading the nomadic life, I missed numerous HS reunions along the way, but now that I’ve attended several and have moved back to my roots these reunions are precious. A recent celebration happened and I wanted to share a few highlights:
Challenging Spring Snow Storm: I sat next to an alumni who shared that he was born in March of 1950. While a huge Spring snow storm occurred, his mother went into labor. The only way his father could get them to the hospital was in a manure spreader. We said…Larry…no wonder they say you are full of it. (smile) Tough to make this stuff up. Only in the Midwest on a farm =)
Walking Sticks: During a door prize give away…a set of walking sticks seemed available and given away which was exciting to the receiving alumni since we could all make use of these potentially at times in our golden year. However, the alumni that they belonged to was not a happy camper since she needed them for her mobility. .
A friend sent me this timely humor:

Keep laughing Warriors!
Spiritual Meditation: Every day we must offer ourselves in a good way, and we will be received in a good way. We must learn to leave nothing but good prayers in our wake. We must learn to help in the healing of others and help love others when they can’t love themselves. These are lessons that we can give ourselves. – Daily Medicine
